SafanDarley is the leading global specialist in Electric & Hydraulic press brakes and shears for both thin and thick sheet metal. To strengthen our position in Germany we will expand our capacity in our Sales Department and we are looking for a Sales Account Manager South Germany.
 

What can you expect?
As Sales Account Manager you are the face of SafanDarley and the primary contact person for our customers.
It is important to build a network based on trust, knowledge and skills. With the aim of achieving an optimum order intake for the entire SafanDarley portfolio in the designated area.

Within this position your activities include the following tasks and responsibilities:

·      Negotiating prices within predetermined margins and concluding sales contracts;
·      Initiating activities to get in touch with (potential) customers;
·      Realising the commercial targets for the assigned area;
·      Maintaining contacts with customers;
·      Making an inventory of the (technical) requirements, wishes, needs and problems of customers and prospects and carrying out market and competition analysis;
·      Keeping abreast of the market situation with regard to developments, prices and competition;
·      Liaising with colleagues in various departments, including Sales and Product Management;
·      Preparing quotations and order confirmations (or having them prepared);
·      Maintaining records such as visit reports, sales forecasts, quotes, price comparisons, etc;
·      Hosting product and company presentations.
 
 
The Sales Account Manager we are looking for has:

·      Good formal qualifications ideally within a technical field;
·      Thorough knowledge of the German Sheet Metal market;
·      General sales and negotiation techniques;
·      Knowledge in drawing up a sales plan;
·      Experience in using the sales information systems;
·      Knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental and safety regulations and procedures in relation to the products is an advantage;
·      Excellent German- and English language skills.
